My kid loves Cheerios

We started giving Andrew some Cheerios last week and we've found out that he loves Cheerios.  He would open his mouth and come towards it!  Even when he is not hungry he will open his mouth for it.  Anyways, its not the same story with puree (solids).  So given that I am a problem solver, I put those two together and offered him Cheerios on one hand and puree in another and when he opened his mouth for Cheerios, I would put puree in his mouth Open-mouthed.  Probably not the best parenting and I am already teaching my son not to trust the world =)... but it works!  I don't know how long it will be before he figures this one out ...

Since when is someone with low vision best fit to lead the blind

I was reading an article about hypothetical compary mergers and one of the comment left had the quote on the title "Since when is someone with low vision best fit to lead the blind".  I thought it was hilarious.  I didn't agree with his assessment, but did agree with the perception of the companies in discussion from public and this quote fit so well!  Open-mouthed

Graphics do matter

I finally got myself a wii over the weekend.  I guess I am getting old as games and game machines don't interest me as much as it used to Open-mouthed.  Anyways, I started hooking the thing up in my living room where we have a 30 in tv.  I didn't think the graphics were good enough to move it down to our media room with 92in screen and a projector.  I was right about the graphics, but after playing for 10mins it was clear that playing games in a 30in tv really sucks.  So I got it installed in the media room and graphics are pretty bad on wii that it takes away from enjoyment of the games.

Wii clearly changed the game industry with its remote based controller, but I can't see myself playing any games in that platform where same game exists in Xbox.  Graphics do matter.

More pictures of Andrew

Its now been a week and a half since Andrew was born. I can't believe one little kid can take out so much from his parents!  Its been amazing, yet busy and tiring!  I don't know how many feeding, diaper changes, burping, laundry and stuff we've done in last weekand a half .  Its also amazing to see your wife tranform into a mother and have this motherly instinct for nursing.  I on the hand transformed into housekeeper and nanny

Shopping for Andrew

Ok, I am so newbie at being a dad that its not funny.  I usually know what I want in terms of buying stuff, but buying baby stuff, that is totally new challenge .  We are almost done with buying the necessary stuff I guess like Crib, stroller, car seat, clothes, baby blankets, diapers, bottles and I am missing gazillion other stuff that I could not possibly imagined we needed for the baby!  I let my wife do all the research and go with her to shop for stuff, but you know I get this headache whenever I go into a baby store ... I think I finally figured it out!  I don't know what I am doing or what I want!  That gives me a headache I guess ... Its sometimes a random decision why you buy one product over another.  Maybe it was the look, maybe it was the price, maybe you just don't care for that particular ...  I don't know buying baby stuff just all confuses me.  I don't think I will ever get used to it.  Luckily you just need only one in the family that likes it =).
